SUMMARY

• Sprays surface of manufactured products with protective or decorative material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean grease, dirt from the painted surface of the product.
• Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color and texture.
• Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.
• Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
• Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat.
• Cleans spraying equipment and brushes as required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Experience gained on job site.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating procedures. Ability to write and correspond

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic mathematical skills to measure paint formulas.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Normal physical movement.
• Repetitive movement required
